The Role

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, will include utilizing video-based appointments to assess, diagnose and treat mild to moderate mental, emotional, and behavioral health concerns. You will be expected to use sound psychotherapy modalities that are inclusive and diversity-affirming. Cultural humility and a demonstrated commitment to intersectionality/racial and ethnicity concerns identity development, sexual and gender diversity orientation development, minority stress, and acculturation models are strongly valued. Ongoing assessments, along with the development of behavioral health treatment plans are expected, with the goal of facilitating healing and an improved sense of wellness/wellbeing.

Serve clients uninterrupted from the comfort of your own home, office, or a convenient location in Arizona. Experience reduced administrative tasks and efficient paperless record keeping. Work-life balance and flexibility are core pillars of our practice with scheduling options to fit your life. Commit to being available for a minimum of ten (10) sessions per week for a minimum of forty-eight (48) weeks of the calendar year.


Our technology platform provides professionals with easy-to-use EHR and video streaming capabilities. Information is shared effectively between our mental health providers and care coordinator staff.


For psychotherapy service, including therapy and evaluations of Melton Psychology Group, LLC clientele, you will be well and competitively compensated.



  • Assess clients via a video-based encounter
  • Perform virtual comprehensive mental health evaluations, including health history and mental status examination findings
  • Develop and implement behavioral health treatment plans, evaluate results of mental health assessments, and provide sound and ethical therapeutic support to patients
  • Collect, record, and maintain relevant PHI
  • Passion for our mission of improving community health through compassionate care, inclusion, and innovation

General Required Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to practice independently with limited clinical supervision
  • Arizona independent licensure is required; multi-state licenses preferred
  • Ability to treat adolescents and adults
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Keep up to date with continuing education and knowledge of evidence-based psychosocial interventions via telehealth

Licensed Psychologist Required Skills/Abilities

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) from an APA accredited Program
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-doctoral experience
  • Active and unrestricted psychology license in Arizona

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Required Skills/Abilities

  • Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited program
  • Minimum of 1 years of LCSW (post exam experience)
  • 1+ years of unsupervised/post licensure psychotherapy treatment experience
  • Active and unrestricted LCSW license in Arizona

Licensed Professional Counselor (also LPCC and LCPC) Required Skills/Abilities

  • Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from a CACREP accredited program
  • 1+ years of unsupervised, post licensure experience
  • Active and unrestricted LPC license in Arizona


Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Required Skills/Abilities

  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from a COAMFTE accredited program
  • 1+ years of unsupervised, post licensure experience
  • Active and unrestricted LMFT license in Arizona


Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Required Skills/Abilities

  • Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from a CACREP accredited program
  • 1+ years of unsupervised, post-licensure experience
  • Active and unrestricted LMHC license in Arizona
